Brightspeed is both a DSL and Fiber Internet service provider. To entice new customers, Brightspeed offers the following incentives:

• Free self-installation option available

Brightspeed customers may encounter additional fees beyond their plan’s base pricing. Here’s what to expect:

• Equipment Fee: For DSL and fiber 200 Mbps plans, Brightspeed charges $15 per month for router equipment. Alternatively, customers can opt to purchase equipment from Brightspeed for a one-time fee of $200 plus taxes to avoid the monthly lease fee. However, for 500Mbps and Gigabit plans, the router is provided free of charge.
• Installation Fee: A one-time professional installation fee of $99 is required.
• Early Termination Fee: Brightspeed offers contract-free plans, allowing month-to-month flexibility without incurring early termination fees.
• Data Caps: Brightspeed offers unlimited data, ensuring no restrictions on internet usage.

Brightspeed takes part in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), offering a $30 discount per month ($75 on tribal lands) to all eligible participants on Brightspeed Internet service through the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) ACP program. To qualify, participants must submit an application demonstrating their eligibility.
